Thanks to all who responded. Sure glad I didn't start pulling out plugs before I asked for advice.

It's going to be 30W non detergent oil for me too.

This Volvo forum is the greatest. I like to think I'm fairly knowledgeable in things automotive, but someone on here is always ready to answer any question.
