242 steering u-joints

It's the angle of the photo - 3/8"-1/2" clear. And the way the manifold will move under torque doesn't bring it closer to the shaft. Additionally, I can still create more clearance if I need it by sliding the splines in the u-joints making the lower shaft shorter and the longer shaft longer.

TruRam cast stainless steel manifolds from Speedway Motors. Nice, nice pieces. 1.75" primaries and 3" collectors. They make the factory F-body OEM manifolds that came on the motor look like toys.

Motor mounts made out of a junk pair of rear torque rods with poly bushes.
