No one is touching this and I think your real question is whether you have the correct EL module in your rebuilt alt. The voltage cannot be the same at those two different measurement points with a load, so my suggestion is you should maybe run through this again carefully. I can't answer your real question, as I do not have Bosch parts lists for a 100A alt showing a different EL, but in any case those voltages, even right at the alt output would not bother me a bit.

Here's a temp vs. voltage chart Volvo used which illustrates how charging varies. The temperature reference in the EL is the module itself, so take that into account as well as ambient.

Maybe someone from the 700 club knows more about 100A Bosch.
