I have two 960s and have had the same problem on both. On one I replaced the servo while replacing the heater core. On the other I plugged the recirculation servo per instructions in the FAQ, which worked fine.

You might try here for a new servo:

If that doesn't work, check the FAQ for "replacing vacuum servos" for instructions on plugging the recirculation servo.
