Thanks Eric,
I did read the service manual but found it a little too general for my amateur standing. Where to put the caulk was one of the things I was wondering about. If I can find a glass shop in my area that has some experience with this type of installation I'll probably go with them as you suggest.
Do you install the trim after the window/windshield is in the car? I saw a video (that I can't find now) where they installed the gasket on the window, then the trim in the gasket and finally the unit in the car.
