After reading through past threads, I am about to convert from Gen to Alt. Ron Kwas suggests Delco for good reasons, so that will be my primary focus.

I don't plan to have a rear view mirror shaking stereo or run excessive electrical loads, so a 100Amp Alt is over kill and I don't feel like converting most of my wiring to accommodate the increased amperage.

So my question should be fairly simple. For those that have already done the conversion, which Alternator, including model number, did you choose and why?
