Checking the chip for damage 200 1992

Hi Art, I finally checked each motor post to ground and each side is well above 1000 ohms (like 1200). I uploaded new "exhibits" to the photo album and you will see a comparison of the 2 25 tooth gears that I have. You asked if my gear looked like the other black gear shown previously and the answer is yes. The new gear (white gear) from odometergears.com fits perfectly on the axle pin of the 15 tooth gear (also from odometergears.com). The black gear is a sloppy fit on the axle pin and the gear tooth profile is different; seems like the teeth are fatter along the sides and towards the root.

The car is up in the air right now as I am working on the front struts, and while I heal, I have to go slow. I will post as soon as I get a chance to let you know how it turns out.

Thanks for all of your help. The wiring diagram was especially good.

Dave Milo
