HELP me solve a Volvo mystery

Thank you Eric for responding--however since I don't have an online platform from which to draw photos I can't post them - but - if you know what a 140 pump looks like (and I know you do) you know what this one looks like. Black body, red cap, hose from lower pickup section through the "cap" and extending a few inches. The slots where the wires should connect are blanked off with an internal "wall" that looks like they may be "breakaway". Quite baffling. -- Dave
