It could. A failed sensor might cause you to flood the combustion chamber if you were not paying attention to the resulting fuel odor, or had the good fortune to think to hold the pedal to the floor.
But there are other reasons for 123. And sometimes there are multiple codes stored, with 123 just being the first delivered. All those good parts you mention, I imagine you know they're "good" because you've swapped them all one by one from a working car. The one thing you didn't swap is the wiring harness, of course. Impractical.
Check the ground wires going to the fuel rail. Check them back to the big splices under the vinyl sheathing, if you've already performed the tests from the ECU suggested in your earlier thread.
