In the 1991 240 ABS green manual that I found a page for online, the control module is shown living right behind the glove box, more or less right behind in the middle, clipped behind the dash support structure, closer to the firewall. The box you're looking for is a smaller version of what the EZK ignition control module looks like. Hope that helps.
