Good old Volvo, especially the 240 team. I often wondered if the assembly plants randomly put things like relays wherever they could hide them to make it some kind of Easter egg hunt for the Vista techs. I particularly liked the later wiper relays which is when I first discovered the drug smuggler cavity nested into the chassis floor just below it -I often wondered how many customs agents at the border crossings know about that, or even people here for that matter. Then you find something you figure is what you’re looking for, but when you check the wire colors it's something else. You make a mental note of it in case you ever do need it, but when the time comes you’ve totally forgotten. One of the first things I liked about the 740s was the troublesome fuse panel and most of the relays in a central and relatively accessible location. And don't even get me started on that main 20 amp LH fuse under the hood in an open fuse holder -how dumb was that!
