An old school way to check for intake air leaks is spraying a little water around the suspect areas. The jet stream out of a household plant mister is perfect for the job. If there is any change at all in engine running then you've got a leak. Absolute easiest way to diagnose leaking injector seals. Maybe not so easy to shoot a stream up from under the intake manifold, but still worth a try.
