'91 240 Engine Rough Idle/Stall at Stop 200

Hello,

My car engine is somewhat rough and stalls at stop sign after driving about 5-10 min. Then I would start the car again to drive.

I took this car to the experienced, highly qualified 240 mechanic.

Recently as part of maintenance, he replaced

- cap rotor, distributor wire, spark plugs
- in tank fuel pump
- valve cover gasket
- crank position sensor (he did this easily from the top using certain tools)
- pcv valve and connected hose

Also the mechanic did

- cleaning idle control valve
- repair vacuum hose leak
- clean thermal control valve (it was not that dirty)

Still after all the cleaning and replacing some parts as above, the car engine remained rough. I took it home for now.

If you have any advice on this, I would appreciate it.
