Tracking down my lost 1800 1800

The plate will have changed. You would then need the VIN to do a DMV search in the State you believe it to be registered. Owner address identification is generally considered private information, especially in this day and age. You would need to make a declaration as to the proper grounds of why you need it revealed, like being a business such as a dealership, financing agency or mechanic putting a lien on it. Being a previous owner might give someone a little more standing, but you'd still have to cook up an excuse why you felt the identity of the current owner needed to be disclosed.
