Gee Paul...
Maybe I misspoke my engine terms... it's a standard B20E...if you're a Volvo guy...you know it came to the States with FI for fuel input, therefore it has extra holes in the head for the injection tubes...extra holes, which left unplugged would make compression impossible...some people call them "ports"...even nowadays ...car manufacturers call it direct port injection.
Never figured out the CC's...needed new pistons cause the old cylinder bores were wonky...Mahle only had .060 pistons available at the time, so we bought them...I think that makes it a 2030 cc or something.
Schneider calls it their 274 cam...I think that means 274 degrees, when I bought they said it was 110 degrees of "overlap...and ground for powerband between 2500 and 4500...and I think the spec page says .426 total lift..
The blueprint part could be a misnomer....but it means the head mechanic measured the cc's in water for each head chamber, and added/took away until they were exactly 48cc's each...
The exhaust is a ceramic coated inside n out B20E separate exhaust manifold, with a standard dual outlet downpipe with 6" extra added to each pipe into a custom 2 into 1 collector ending in a welded 2" system, with 2 Giant(I think 12 x 20) Magnaflow mufflers with a single tailpipe behind the driver wheel...
We didn't have a flowbench available...so nix on flow parameters. I forgot to buy a dyno and put it in my carport, so I only have a "butt dyno"...
I've been reading your posts for 25 years...used to love the interplay tween you and Singher, and George Downs, and Eric, and Kyle
I bought them anyway...they look great, but I had to get float seats ordered cuz they both overflow terribly...ALA Mikuni...oh well...
