Dear james_a_souza,

Hope you're well and stay so. The seat belts needed are not "middle back seat" belts, but rather those for a third, rear-facing seat, mounted in the cargo space. The third seat - and its seat-belts - are not common.

I'd guess such rear-facing seats were for a tail-gunner, helpful in areas with "heavy" traffic and/or aggressive, tail-gating drivers!!
