VOLVO is the ONLY user of the trifecta (Peugot, Renault, Volvo) that had the cam lube problems. The heads and lube galleys were of their design in combo with some suspect cams that perhaps were not hardened properly.

Indeed the later versions of the B28F (later 81) and the B28OF did NOT have this problem. Volvo corrected it.

NO the Delorean is NOT exactly the same as the Volvo engine.
