Whats stopping them?

Why cant an aftermarket company make glass replacement lenses for the horrendous 2/7/9 series euro style lamps? Is there some ridiclous government reg preventing this, or is it the greed of the aftermarket? Glass would be a permanent fix, so they would never do that.

Should we all bug IPD?
