Cleaning inside of headlights 700 91

Does anyone know how to get inside the headlamp assemblies on a '91 740? I'd like to clean out the condensation and dirt buildup. I assume removing the lenses is necessary, but have no idea how to go about it, or what tools are required. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
