Re: warm start problem 200 1988

Hello Tony, The accumulator is connected to the main fuel pump via a non return valve. It serves to deaden the noise of the main pump when the engine is switch on. After the engine has been switched off, the fuel accumulator maintains the pressure in the fuel system in order to facilitate re-starting, particularly when the engine is hot. I am hoping to change the accumulator in the next week and I will post a message to let you all know if it solves my problem.
