Stick a fuel pressure gage on it, too. Check fuel pressure when the car is cranking, running, and then after it is shut off. Test the fuel pressure regulator as well. If is is bad, instead of sending excess fuel back to the tank, it sends it directly to the intake manifold-causing it to run extra rich and then the ECU tries to compensate. Happy hunting.
