Leather Seats 1800 1971

My '71 P1800's driver seat is starting to show it's 30 years. The leather is worn mostly on the door side right up to the seam where it is coming apart. I was wondering 2 things: 1) What is the best leather cleaner/conditioner to use? I have heard good things about Lexol, but was wondering if there is something better? 2) Is it possible to switch the driver and passenger seats? Since the seat-belt doesn't attach to the seat I thought this might be possible.
