I might guess the air flap used to divert hot air from the exhaust manifold to cold air from the fender.

Turbo's still don't have flame traps. Look at your oil seperator box, under the intake mn\anifold, and remove the hose. No flame trap there. The hose runs over to the turbo inlet hose and has no flame trap there either.

Check the 700/900 FAQ via the 'features' pull down menu.
