transmission bushing 120-130 1967

My automatic transmission shift lever shaft bushing (positioned where the lever shaft penetrates through the firewall) is shot, causing linkage slop and difficulty in using the 'Park' setting. To my knowledge, this bushing is no longer available, either through Volvo or through a number of parts dealers. Other than pitching the transmission for a 5 speed conversion, do you have a recommendation for this problem? Thanks.
