960 trans code 2-3-3 900 1991

Every time I drive faster than approx 75 mph I get the 2-3-3 code from the transmission computer. I think this is the speedo signal missing. Seems strange as the cruise control and speedometer works as supposed even at higher speeds. The engine ECU also seems to be happy with it´s speedo signal at all speeds. Does anybody know if this 1) is the missing speedo signal code and 2) what this signal should look like - my guess is a 48 pulses/axle turn sq wave (shaped by the speedometer), but I´m not sure.
