Jump the cables. 700 90

Can't you just 'jump' the cables? Remove the wires from the switch, then start figuring out what wire does what. Once you find out, you'll be able to move the seat back and forth, install the bolts, then go to the store to buy that scrap-yard class magnet. Let us know how it goes...
