Cassidy: Any chrome polish or metal polish should do it. My favorites have been Simichrome, or in a pinch, duPont makes a polish that comes in a green can. However, I can't stress enough that you need to make sure that what you're dealing with is actually chrome! There were a lot of stainless steel parts on the cars, especially around the windows, where the elements would beat to death any chrome plating. If the trim is stainless, then you'll be only marginally successful polishing it by hand. You'd be best off to remove as much as you can and hit it with a buffing wheel (on a bench grinder) upon which there is a little bit of jewelers rouge to bring up the shine. It's tedious work, but well worth the effort. Good luck.
