Cool trick for a hot radiator ALL ALL

ICQ>

My daily driver, a 1980 242C, has got to be the coolest running volvo I've ever known. This car lives in the desert where it gets hotter than hell. You can idle this thing at 1500rpm, with the A/C on all day. All day. This thing will not get hot.

The trick? The radiator, (a 3 row) is baffled. By adding baffles w/in the radiator tanks, it forces the coolant to spend more time in the radiator, following directions from the baffles. This car also has a tropical fan clutch that you hear on hot days. The next time you have a radiator rodded out ask the shop if they know how to add baffles.
