Something Missing in Suspension Upgrade! 700 1985

Among other things, I have installed front struts and strut mounting plates, rear boge turbo shocks; and last week IPD sway bars on front and back. I still find that the car shakes and rattles when I go over rough spots on the city streets. The rear end seems especially hard and noisey.I'm really disappointed in the ride after all that money and work.

Can anyone tell me what I missed in the upgrade?
