Volvo fitted either ZF or CamGear racks to 200 series cars. The CamGear rack boots seal to the tie rod whereas the ZF rack boots seal to a rubber disc on the tie rod. Any model could have either rack.

As for the gearbox there are also a number of possibilites, they may be the same or they may be different, are the shifters the same?
