Should I Install an MSD? 700 1990

Yeah, I want to know if getting an MSD will increase horsepower. Right now I have a Dawes Devices boost controller doing about 12 psi. I just took apart the airbox, removed the extra internal padding there and opened up the other side of the box for more air and more horsepower. So, MSD next? Thanks for any help! -David
