I have a 93 940, I haven't checked my relay, but it sounds like your fuel injection relay may be on the fritz. You can take it apart, check it, resolder, if necessary or just buy a new one (~35 bucks). As for the stupid interlock problem, there was a tech bulletin on it, at least for the 940. Simply remove the microswith and connect the two wires, be careful as the button can fall into the shift lever canyon (how do I know this). No thoughts on reverse lights, other than the switch somewhere on the tranny is out. Good luck.
