Flame trap again

I have an 88 DL with 215,000 and it seems to have progressively needed more flame trap attention in the 100,000 miles I have owned it (throttle body cleaning too). Are you cleaning the nipple on the flametrap holder and manifold? I have had the hose between the nipples clog, too.
