Part Numbers Help? 700 1985

Rick: is this deja vu all over again? I saw my reply a few days ago, and someone else's, too, and now POOF! they're gone. Anyway. the silver tube IS the pre-heater tube (it has NOTHING to do with the PCV system); many Bricksters, and most mechanics, reecommend removing it altogether, not using it at all, UNLESS you live in Alaska; it is not needed in the summertime at all.

The other response recommended the urethane bushings over the 'non'. Bosch and Mann filters seem to be just about everyone's choice: stay away from Fram and cheapos, as there IS a difference in more than just price. Also, most Volvo dealers sell a little pocket-ref type book that has TONS of specs (tranny, engine, etc.), maintenance info, torques, clearances, parts numbers, etc., and sell for +/- $10US, a great thing to keep in the glove compartment or toolbox. Good Luck. --PD.
