Where's the boost? part two 200 1984

Yeah I kind of suspect that too. I have replaced the hose that goes over the valve cover to the intake, but I have not done the short one that goes down to the actuator. I am also going to bypass the boost switch by the CI unit in case the its stuck open or something. Too much snow on the ground right now to go crawling under the beast. I think I get better fuel economy that that. Its hard to compare though because we use liters per hundred kilometers in Canada, and you gallon is smaller then ours. Neither of my Volvos is great if you compare it to the girlfriends Civic, but I was surprised that the beat up old turbo did as well as my 89. I would have thought the 2.4 fuel injection would make the red block more efficient than the ancient CI fuel injection. Plus the turbo has lower compression.
