Thanks for the tips, it gives me plenty of new places to start. I do hear hissing (vaccum leak) coming from the brake booster area (the hissing stops when I apply the brakes). Also, ever since I've got the car (8 months now), I've been wanting to get somebody to look or tune up the carbs. Not that they are performing poorly, just that I don't really know anything about them or if they are tuned properly.
