I replaced mine not too long ago partly because I bought the car used and I don't know the car's recent maintenance record, and also because I thought it would help with my crankcase pressure. I took pictures of the procedure which might be helpful. I chose to remove the intake manifold, but as I found out afterward, you might only need to remove the throttle body. Others claim to be able to remove the device without removing any intake hardware, but I disagree. Hopefully the pictures will explain why.
