Possible 780 purchase Help (Kinda long) 700 1991

Check out the website listed here:

I've owned 3 volvos, and the last two were 780s. I love the way they look (and mine will look even better soon with the bodykit and 17" wheels on the way!) and I love the way they drive even more. They can be a real pain in the ass when you've got to spend time and serious $$$ fixing stuff that's broken instead of spending time and $$$ doing fun stuff to it like a new cam, torque converter, intake, etc etc etc ad nauseum. Check my next post for another possibility about the reason the battery keeps crapping out. The biggest thing that will get you with the seats is if the cable comes out of where it engages the seat motor... you'll have to pull apart upholstery to get at that, and it's a REAL bitch. If it's just the switch, you're all set. Good luck, and email with any questions.

-Jon '91 Coupe (780) 164K "Gustaf".... runnin' like a scalded cat!!!

As a side note, let me toot my own horn for a second: This past weekend, I briefly toyed with the idea of getting a '97 850R instead of doing a V8 conversion, so I took one for a test drive. Granted, it was bone stock and for a couple thousand more invested in exhaust and ECU and REALLY got the thing rippin'.... but my butt-o-meter told me that Gustaf could have blown the doors off of it :) Definitely made me feel like all the mods I've made have been worth it!
