Here we go again. Uh, Michae1, the dealer is now saying that you have a ltd slip and not an open differential. He said an open diff would not spin both wheels. He said jacking it up and spinning one wheel means nothing! He said a ltd slip will also do the same thing, but only a locking Eaton type diff will make both wheels turn together. He said the Dana ltd Slip clutches only grab when the right wheel (primary drive wheel) slips, and then the left will kick in. In other words, when it is jacked up and turning freely there is no slippage occurring, hence, ltd slip will act just as an open. He said the main evidence of the ltd slip was the fact both wheels spun when you had it on the pavement. At any rate, that does sound like a logical explanation. If he is wrong, please explain.
