Two stage 700 1988

I have installed a vacuum/pressure solenoid that, if NOT activated bypasses the G-valve so the waste gate limits boost to 8 psi. However, when I activate the solenoid by flipping the switch (I used a seat heater switch mounted beside the rear defrost switch) I have 14psi of boost and quicker spool-up. I call it "regular mode" and "power mode".
