That's the biggest draw back with POR-15. I used some Zero-Rust on my PV a year ago, I brushed Zero onto the underbody, cleaned the rim of the quart can and pushed on the lid. Yesterday a year later, after looking in my shop for an hour I found that can of Zero, and the lid pried right off! I stirred and poured into my HVLP, thinned with about 10% fast lacquer thinner and it sprayed great. I did some suspension parts and brake backing plates. I'm using 544 brakes on a 444.

POR-15 does contain Iso's which is a drying agent, Iso's are toxic to the human. So if you are using POR-15 an air supplied respirator is recommended. Charcoal cartridge masks don't effectivly filter Iso's. I build furniture for a living and I'm the clutz who gets to finish it all, years ago I used polyurethane and almost killed myself using the polyurethane because of the Iso's. I now use Hydrocote Resistance for furniture finishing, a great non toxic waterbased finish. The Iso issue, as well as ease of application is why I like Zero.

POR-15 has a very well established marketing and sales campaign which is tough to crack, but IMO Zero-Rust is worth looking at.
