copy this address. this guy gives complete details and pics in removing your dash. i had the same problem and i covered it with a plastic cover. i removed mine so as to trim it to properly fit and to be able to get at the areas where the glue is needed more. if you do this method do yourself a favor and spring the several $$ for a GOOD 3-m glue that will take the heat from the windshield. you won't easily find this stuff but the payoff is worth it.
