B18 engine compression- just add carbon! 120-130

The other possibility (unlikely since the numbers are identical, but possible)
is that the engine has a significant carbon buildup!
That'll raise your compression... but cause other problems, of course!
I, too, agree- that's awfully high. My B18, in pretty good mechanical condition , was only good for 165,160 160 165, and the B20, which leaked down at 97% (!!!) only pushed 150 on all 4, but I think that had something to do with the Isky cam... heh heh heh
