Swapping Engines 200

gman,

It is possible, but it would entail a lot of work. Not only would you have to swap the motor, but also the injection system, wiring, computer, etc. Reason being that your '86 (B230F, by the way) has electronic LH injection, and the turbos all have K-Jet (CIS) mechanical injection. There might also be some drivetrain and suspension issues, but I've never done a swap like this so I'm not sure.

It is doable, if you have access to the donor car ('83) in its entirety.

-Jim
