Jim -- do you have the a.c. or non-a.c. setup? Either way, the swap shouldn't be problematic. I've done 3 setups of stripping out the a.c. gear and installing the non-a.c. p.s. mounting hardware. It is pretty straightforward. The only quirk that I can recall is that the bolts come in different lengths and they aren't interchangeable, so keep track of which bolt goes where.
