Did you tell them that you hit a pothole?
Sounds fishy, that rod, radius rod, does not give way that easy. It's connected by thick bushings and are suppose to take the impacts. If it's 3mm, try changing or lossen and retorquing the raduis arm bushings.
3mm? Thats a tiny difference to cause the car to pull to one side?
Talk me into rebuilding my engine (b230f). It started with a bad head and I got one from the bone yard. I have everything off the car, just the block and am debating how hard is it to do the rings and bearings? Compressions were in specs (before bad head).
