You could do the easiest thing and just avoid overworking the front brakes. In all probability you'll be fine unless you ride the brakes on a prolonged downhill slope.
The next easiest thing would be to upgrade to vented rotors up front. OEM ATE(not ATE PowerDisc) rotors are pretty cheap.
The Volvo alloy wheels (five spoke GT style or the polyspoked GL style) will improve cooling and allow some nicer tire choices and would be a good choice as well.
If you're going to try not to upgrade anything else, the ducting will probably work better than the cooling fans.
