1990 740 locking me out!! 700 1990

...I just called the dealer, and they laughed at me... :) They said that they had not heard of the 740 having that feature, and that the aftermarket alarm system is probably shorting out, and causing the doors to lock when I grab the handle. Does this sound feasible? -Tony
