Central Locking System and Key Chime Problems 200

You can just pull the chime. Its a big blue box (it looks like a relay) up around the pedals under the dash on the drivers side. The power lock relays are on the bulkhead, under the center air vents on the dash. One is for open, one is for lock. There is a third relay in the same place that controls the power windows. They are a pain to get at, because they are clipped to the bulkhead from behind. It is probably not the relay anyway. I would guess it is the switch in the driver door, or broken wires in the hinge area of the door. It is normal for the drivers door not to lock when the door is open. This is so you can't lock your keys in the car.
