Contact trigger points 140-160

I just purchased a new set of trigger points from Boston Volvo Village (800)336-2355, for a 1971 1800e. Send them an e-mail with a parts request and they will send you a pretty quick response. I paid 102.00 and I don't think you going to find it any cheaper. These guys sell vintage parts at 15% off the Volvo list price. If you live in Maine, call this guy, Mr. Wheeler, he lives in N. Leeds, ME. He has a yard full of vintage Volvos, specially the 164's. I bought one from him about 4 years ago and drove the car to Macon GA. Never had any problems with it. I still have it. Mr. Wheeler's number is (207)534-5591. You may want to re-check the other sensors on the car before you spend $100.00 on the trigger points. I thought the same and come to find out, the ones on my car were good, it was the fuel pump. I have a 1975 164e and have done all the work on it myself with the help of this board. Without these guys I don't think I would still have the car.
Good luck.
